We are committed to finding sustainable ways to produce our food  more efficiently. On the other hand, at Cítricos La Paz, we feel we have a responsibility to our planet, our productions, our local communities and our customers, to reduce food waste. We are committed to developing new ways of managing our fruit in our operations and supply chains.

Climate change has also taken centrestage and is arguably the greatest challenge facing humanity today and can be considered a real threat to global agricultural production. At Cítricos La Paz, we are committed to playing our role in the fight against climate change and reducing greenhouse gases. For this reason, our decrease in emissions in the last year has been driven by switching to renewable electricity with a new photovoltaic facility at our plant and the change from polluting vehicles to new hybrid vehicles. In addition, our production plant uses an efficient infrastructure, through the use of electrical energy for production, LED lighting, flushometers to control water consumption, frequency inverters that adapt electricity consumption and a whole other range of initiatives to help reduce energy consumption.
