A values-driven company The history of Cítricos La Paz started in the Region of Murcia 12 years ago. Since then, we have gone from founding a local business to expanding and becoming a benchmark in our sector, a milestone that we have achieved while staying true to our traditions. We have a reputation for adding value and talent to all of our endeavours.

Promoting a healthy lifestyle

At Cítricos La Paz we are of the firm belief hat it is essential
to get behind development programs created by UNESCO. As a result of this commitment, we have sponsored the Children’s Race held by Fortuna’s schools (the town where our facilities are located). By partaking in this action, we contribute to meeting SDG number 3 (Sustainable Development Goal for health and well-being).
In addition to taking part in this event, we give away bags of lemons to all participants.

This growth also provides tangible added value, as it has favoured and improved the employment of people at risk of social exclusion. All of this forms part of our goal in contributing to the fulfilment of the SDGs: 1 (end of poverty), 8 (decent work and economic growth) and 17 (alliances to achieve the objectives).

Red Cross job fair

The Red Cross organises an annual Job Fair in which companies and organisations from across the Region of Murcia participate, as a measure to promote employment among the users of its programmes, including groups like workers over 45 years of age, disabled people, immigrants or young people starting their first job.

At present, CSR is a department that is fully integrated into our organisation, and that works across other departments, to achieve its objectives.

Murcia Emplea held a jobseekers’ fair where, in addition to being able to meet job seekers, mock interviews were held, in which we participated as a company.

1st virtual employment forum organized by ENAE, UMU and UPCT.

We were invited to participate in the 1st Virtual Forum on Employment, organized by ENAE BUSINESS SCHOOL, in collaboration with the University of Murcia and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena. As part of this forum, we spoke about the company’s vacancies m and motivate the unemployed in their active job search

Participating in career advice talks

We have held several career advice talks for CRUZ ROJA in the Murcia Region,
to promote the employment of their programme users.
We also collaborated in the 100 × 100 activation workshop of the
Murcia Region Employment and Training Service. To sum up, our HR department at Cítricos La Paz SL has been committed to Corporate Social Responsibility from the beginning of our journey.
